GrogLabs Ltd is a private company registered in Cyprus under the Companies Law, Cap. 113, with its office in Nicosia. Its business is software engineering: the design, development and integration of software and applications, and consulting on the same.
Deliberately small
The work is done by the engineer you talk to. There is no account layer between the person scoping an engagement and the person writing the code, and nothing is passed to a subcontractor you have not met.
That sets a limit on how much work we take at once, which we would rather state than disguise. It also means the review of your system is done by someone who has spent years maintaining systems like it, in production, with the pager attached.
How we approach the work
We read the system before we have an opinion about it. Assessments are delivered in writing with the reasoning shown, so they can be checked and argued with rather than taken on trust. When the honest conclusion is that a change is not worth making, that is the conclusion we deliver.
Our engineering is AI-assisted, deliberately and openly. Used properly it removes a great deal of the mechanical work in reading unfamiliar codebases, tracing behaviour and drafting changes, which is what allows a company of this size to take on the scope it does. It does not remove the engineering judgment, and we do not pretend otherwise.
